One of the greatest gifts you can give your loved ones is a healthy you! I once heard that you can’t give something that you don’t have yourself. So, taking time out for yourself is not selfish but rather self-care.
What is the first thing you think of when I say health? Let’s unpack what wholistic wellbeing is and what it can look like.
Physical: being active, stress management
Mental: making good decisions, setting & achieving goals
Social: support, communication
Spiritual: values, purpose
Take a moment to reflect on these four areas and ask yourself are you doing anything to enrich your wellbeing? If you answered yes, well done! Why not ask yourself is there anything that I can incorporate to what I am already doing to take my wellbeing to the next level? If you answered no, thank you for your honesty. Let this moment be an invitation to start working on a well-being plan for yourself. Keep it simple!
